The Israeli authorities have allowed tourists and pilgrims vaccinated with the Russian Sputnik V coronavirus vaccine to enter the country from January 9. It is also necessary to take an antibody test to enter the country, RIA Novosti reports.

The Russian drug was included in the list of approved vaccines posted on the website of the Israeli Ministry of Health. The Russian embassy noted that a permit issued by the Israeli authorities allows Russian tourists and pilgrims who have been vaccinated with Sputnik V to visit the country in compliance with local epidemic requirements.

Residents of countries in which the level of risks of contracting COVID-19 is considered moderate are allowed to enter the country.
