Cult Russian films screened in Paris

Karen Shakhnazarov's film "Courier" has opened a cycle of screenings of the masterpieces of Russian cinema in Paris. The best Russian films will be shown on Sundays at the Balzac cinema on the Champs Elysees, the Russian Spiritual and Cultural Orthodox Center in Paris writes on Facebook.

Screenings are taking place on the eve of the Russian Film Festival, which will be held for the 8th time in Paris and the Ile-de-France region from March 21 to 29. The program will include the best Russian films of recent years awarded at international film festivals.

The next screening is going to take place on January 13. The screening of Leonid Gaidai's comedy "Ivan Vasilievich: Back to the Future" is timed to coincide with the Russian old New Year.
