Two Russian films are included in the short film program of the Berlin Film Festival. In total, 21 films by directors from different countries claim the Golden Bear and Silver Bear this year, Rossiyskaya Gazeta reports.

"Trap" by Anastasia Weber, a graduate of the St. Petersburg School of New Cinema, is one of the films competing for the victory. The international premiere of the film will take place in Berlin. Weber wrote the script for the film herself. The main characters are young people living in modern Russia.

"Haulout" by Evgenia and Maxim Arbugaev is also included in the competition program. The documentary is created jointly by Russia and the UK.

The 72nd Berlin International Film Festival starts on February, 10.
