Antibody titers to the omicron strain is more than two times higher after applying Sputnik V compared to two injections of the Pfizer vaccine, RIA Novosti reports. This conclusion was made by a joint study of the Gamaleya Center and the Lazzaro Spallanzani National Institute for Infectious Diseases.

The Russian Direct Investment Fund notes that the antibody titer after Sputnik V is 2.1 times higher in general and 2.6 times higher three months after vaccination.

The study was conducted under equal laboratory conditions at the Spallanzani Institute in Italy, based on comparable serum samples from individuals vaccinated with Sputnik V and Pfizer with similar levels of IgG antibodies and virus-neutralizing activity to the original strain registered in Wuhan.

Sputnik V demonstrated very high efficiency during its use in San Marino. These conclusions were made by scientists from the Spallanzani Institute. According to the scientists, the effectiveness of Sputnik V at almost 100%, no serious side effects were recorded.
