Orenburg shawls exhibited in Switzerland

Residents of Switzerland will be able to see the famous Orenburg shawls, TASS reports. They are presented at the exhibition, which opened in Bern, in the gallery of the Russian-Swiss artist Alex Doll.

The exhibits were provided by the Orenburg Museum of Fine Arts, and the downy shawl factory in Orenburg. Local collectors also provided gossamer scarves for the exhibition. In particular, they were presented by the founder of the Cerny Inuit Collection Museum of Arctic Art, Marta Cerny. 

The Orenburg down-knitting craft is presented in the form of an airy cobweb image. It looks like both clouds and cobwebs illuminated by the evening sun.

The exposition is complemented by small sculptures from the series of works by Alex Doll ''Flowers. Impression." The artist himself believes that each exhibit carries a sacred meaning associated with the spiritual values ​​of Russia.
