Moscow takes part in international forum of partner cities

Moscow has taken part in the online international forum of partner cities, timed to coincide with the Olympic Games. The Winter Olympics start in early February in Beijing. The forum brought together more than 60 cities, according to the website of the Moscow House of Compatriots.

 The participants discussed the problems of urban development, their cooperation in various fields during major tournaments, and many other topics.

The head of the Department of Foreign Economic and International Relations Sergey Cheryomin noted that the Russian and Chinese capitals have had friendly relations for many years. He assured that Moscow is ready to contribute to the development of cooperation in the field of sports and wishes China success in hosting the Olympics.

Chinese Minister of Foreign Affairs Wang Yi thanked the international community for their assistance in organizing the largest international tournament.
