The air traffic connecting Russia and China will be resumed on Monday, March 14, RIA Novosti reports. It was previously suspended due to the measures aimed at preventing the spread of COVID-19. One flight per week will connect Moscow with Beijing, Guangzhou and Shanghai.

At the same time, restrictions imposed by many Western countries have forced Russian air carriers to suspend flights to many foreign countires due to the high risk of aircraft arrest.

From March 14, regular flights to Indonesia will also be resumed. Planes will fly from Moscow to Denpasar three times a week. In total, the number of flights to 16 countries has increased. This list includes Azerbaijan, Armenia, Bahrain, Vietnam, India, Iraq, Iran, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, the Maldives, Mongolia, Saudi Arabia, Serbia, Tajikistan, Thailand and Uzbekistan.
