Winners of Word Factory children's literary competition receive awards

40 laureates of the Word Factory 2022 children's literary competition from 18 countries received diplomas, souvenirs and a collection of fairy tales and stories.

The list of winners included 40 young writers from Armenia, Belarus, Great Britain, Hungary, Germany, Greece, Egypt, Spain, Italy, Kazakhstan, Canada, Kyrgyzstan, Latvia, Moldova, USA, France, Croatia and the Czech Republic.

In total, 617 young compatriots aged 7 to 17 from 37 countries took part in the competition. The assignment was to write a fairy tale or a story in Russian with the words: ''Sasha'' and ''key.''

The Word Factory competition was held for the 3rd time at the initiative of the Surprise French school of additional education, the Commission on education and the Russian language of the Coordinating Council of Russian Compatriots in France and with the support of the Russkiy Mir Foundation.

The competition was also supported by the Embassy of the Russian Federation in France, the Russian Spiritual and Cultural Orthodox Center in Paris, the Pushkin State Russian Language Institute, and the Peoples' Friendship University of Russia.
