More than 200 films will be included in the program of the Moscow International Film Festival (MIFF) this year. The film forum starts on August, 26, TASS reports. According to the organizers, films by representatives of 65 countries will be presented in Moscow. The head of the selection committee of the festival, Ivan Kudryavtsev, does not exclude that the list of participating countries will expand.

Despite the difficult international situation, it was possible to achieve an ideal balance in the representation of countries, Kudryavtsev noted. He assured that Russia never built barriers or walls, did not compile black lists. Unlike other states, Russia has always built bridges. And, despite that for many participants it will be difficult to get to Moscow, they did not refuse to show their works.
