The flashmob in support of Russian culture took place in the center of Buenos Aires, RIA Novosti reports. Residents of Argentina came to the building of the Faculty of Law of the University of Buenos Aires to protest against Russophobia.

The organizers called the venue of the rally symbolic - the faculty trains lawyers and judges who protect human values and rights.

The initiative to hold a flash mob was born during one of the meetings of the youth coordinating council of Russian compatriots. Council representative Anastasia Turskaya noted that ''quiet discrimination'' against Russians is palpable.

The flashmob participants brought Russian flags with them. They reminded the audience about the provisions of the Argentine Constitution, where every inhabitant of the country is guaranteed equal rights. The activists said that Russians today are the same people as they were a few years ago, "with the same culture, music and ideas."

Earlier, dozens of residents of Vienna called for an end to Russophobia. A rally in support of Russia's actions in Ukraine and residents of the people's republics of Donbass was also held in Belgium.
