Chinese universities show interest to cooperating with Vladivostok

The Mudanjiang University (China) strives to enhance the cooperation in educational sphere with the universities of Vladivostok, IA VladNews informs. This issue became the focus of attention during the meeting with Chinese delegation in Vladivostok City Administration.

According to the leader of delegation, Rector of Mudanjiang University Lui Guijun, the university has already forged strong links with Ussuriysk State Pedagogical Institute and Far Eastern Federal University (FEFU) in Vladivostok. Chinese party keeps working on bringing in foreign partners in the educational sphere.

University includes ten Institutes, where about 10 thousand students receive trainings for more than 40 professions.

Chinese partners also emphasized that they are interested in school exchange programs along with their collaboration with universities.

Lui Guijun explained that University has a great expertise in organizing short-term and long-term courses for foreign students and schoolchildren. Programs include Chinese language classes and familiarization with Chinese culture. University also helds refresher trainings for professors and teachers. 

He added that it would be great to draw the attention of local schools to courses for children of younger age.
