Beauty of Russian nature and Russian towns, rich cultural life and great food attract tourists in Russia millions tourists from China and other countries. Li Hui, Chinese Ambassador to Russia, stated his opinion recently. According to him, 1,8 Chinese travelers visited Russia last year, while in 2019 this number might prevail 2 million, RIA Novosti reports.
Li Hui is sure that Russian-Chinese cooperation in various fields affects tourist flow. The diplomat expressed hope that the number of Chinese guests in Russia will increase in future.
Talking about the most attractive aspects of Russia, Li Hui especially marked the beauty of Russian nature and local cities and towns. Among the main treasures he named Urals, Baikal, and Volga river. In his list of the most beautiful cities are Saint Petersburg, Kazan, Sochi. Each Russian city has its own «appeal» and deserves attention, says Li Hui.
The diplomat has noted that Chenese people are so charmed with Russian cuisine and Russian art that «sometimes they're so much into it, they don't want to return home.»
