Norway blogger Jens Aksel Takle made a short documentary while traveling to Salekhard and the Komi Republic. The blogger presented the film on his YouTube channel. The video shows the beauty of nature, as well as the traditions of the peoples living on the Yamal Peninsula and in Komi, Ura.ru reports.

“I went on an excursion to the Yamal-Nenets Autonomous District for three days with a tour group of fourteen people. I visited the capital of Salekhard District and saw how the Nenets live, how their tepees look from the inside, and how these people are engaged in reindeer herding,” the traveler said.

He told his viewers about the daily life of reindeer herders, revealed the secrets of building a tepee and living in it. In addition, the blogger filmed the sights of the region, stations and piers of the northern cities.

The Norwegian studies Russian and the basics of film art at the University of Oslo. He has long been interested in Russia and has repeatedly visited various regions of the country. Jens Axel Takle also told his audience about travels to Samara and Mordovia.
