Compatriots in Lebanon and Palestine to hold Gagarin chess tournament

The 5th regional chess online tournament, dedicated to the 60th anniversary of Yuri Gagagin's flight into space, will be held on the eve of Cosmonautics Day - from April 9 to 11. The organizers of the tournament for children and teenagers will be the Coordination Councils of Organizations of Russian Compatriots (KSORS) in Lebanon and Palestine, according to Facebook.

Children born in 2008-2012 and adolescents born in 2004-2007 will be able to take part in the tournament. Applications from participants are accepted through KSORS in the countries of residence of young compatriots. The tournament will be held within the framework of the ''Yuri Gagarin. The first in space" international project.
