The Russian national hockey team won all 3 matches of the 3rd stage of the Eurotour, which took place in Sweden, and became the winner of the competition ahead of schedule. The Euro Hockey Tour has been held for 25 years, Russia took 1st place in the championship for the 9th time, TASS reports.

The Russian national team brought an experimental squad to the Swedish Hockey Games, in which there were many young hockey players. This is due to the fact that the team at the third stage of the Eurotour was led by the mentor of the Russian youth team Igor Larionov. The renewed roster brilliantly showed itself in Malmö, where the tournament was held, and won three victories in a row.

An impressive end to the tournament was put by the victory of the Russians over the Czech national team with a score of 7: 4 in the last game of the Swedish hockey games. In Malmö, Larionov's team scored eight points, while the hosts of the tournament took 2nd place with only three points.

The Russians took first places in three stages of the Eurotour out of four, and the May tournament in the Czech Republic will not change the situation at the top of the standings. Nine victorious matches in a row allowed the Russian national team to set a record in the history of the Eurotour.
