The Slavic Festival took place in Tunisia, the Russian Embassy reports. The organizer was the Russian Heritage Association. It unites compatriots who came from Russia, Belarus, and some other countries on the territory of the former Soviet Union.

The festival took place on the eve of International Women's Day. Professional vocal and dance ensembles performed for the guests who came to the Kulturama center. Together with them, young artists performed, congratulating their mothers, grandmothers and sisters on March 8. The action took place with the assistance of the Embassy of the Russian Federation and the representative office of Rossotrudnichestvo.

The holiday also reminded of the approaching Maslenitsa. Its program included a large fair, where goods made by our compatriots were presented - decor items, handmade toys, books, cheese production, as well as products of Tunisian enterprises - honey, designer jewelry, ceramics and much more.
