Foreign bloggers began to get to know Russia. Sakhalin Island became the start of the new travel show. The journey began on Monday, March 1. The project will not only dispel myths about Russia that exist among residents of other states. Another important task will be a different look at local attractions, according to IA Sakhalin.info.

Jessica Vanessa from Guatemala, Antonio Ekumbi from Angola and Ibrahim Atalla Ben Aissa from Algeria came to Sakhalin. On a land far from megacities, bloggers are expected to meet local culture and traditions. They will learn how people live in cold weather and will begin to master the Russian language.

The organizer of the action is the Live Classic Foundation with the assistance of Rosmolodezh.

According to Marina Smirnova, who heads the fund, they specially chose for the project those places in Russia that not even every Russian has seen. She expressed confidence that the project will increase the flow of tourists to the regions from abroad.

Dog sledding races, surfing and many other challenges await bloggers. They will cook food on an open fire and take a steam bath, see sea lions in their habitats and ice waterfalls.

They will also compete with each other, and one of the tasks of the competition will be to read in Russian excerpts from the works of Russian writers. Bloggers will post their travel notes on the Internet.

The inhabitants of the island will be able to vote for the blogger they like, who will tell the most interesting about their homeland.
