International educational exchange programs will start at the beginning of the next academic year, TASS reports.  Every year up to 1,500 people will take part in them.

The head of the department, Sergei Kravtsov, spoke about this during a speech at a meeting of the Council for Interethnic Relations. It took place on Tuesday, March 30.

The minister recalled that every year thousands of young foreigners come to Russia to visit children's centers. Unfortunately, last year, due to the unfavorable epidemiological situation in the world, this practice had to be abandoned, but in 2019, about 3,500 children from abroad visited children's centers. Hopefully, the minister added, work would resume in the near future.
