International poetry festival united Russian-speaking participants from 9 countries

Participants from Russia, Finland and Italy became winners and runners-up of the My Poet International Festival of Poetry, which was held by the Art-Master theater from the Finnish city of Jyväskylä. The competition was held for the 15th time and was timed to coincide with the International Theater Day and the birthday of the Art-Master Theater, according to the website of the Association of Russian Theaters Abroad.

The festival brought together participants from Russia, Great Britain, Germany, Canada, France and other countries. Contestants read poems written by theater actors and directors, as well as works about the theater.

The awards were presented in three nominations - Video poetry, Reading live and From sight, the first category was won by the Russian woman Victoria Rudnitskaya. Participants from Finland and Italy were also highly appreciated by the jury. The contestants who showed the best results received books and diplomas.

The My Poet festival touches upon various themes embodied in poetry. For example, three years ago it was dedicated to poems about the war.
