A member of the Italian Northern League party Alessandro Ravaglioli flew to Russia to be vaccinated against the coronavirus, RIA Novosti reports. According to him, he was tired of waiting for his turn at home. The Italian, who is married to a Russian woman, received both doses of the drug. The first time he flew to Moscow in March. Now he was given the second injection.

If he was waiting for his turn in Italy, he would not have been vaccinated until autumn. This is too long, Ravaglioli said. It is wrong to die just because the European bureaucracy is working too slowly, the politician is sure. In addition, he has no doubts that political motives are at the core of the EU's reluctance to allow the use of the Russian vaccine.

The production of vaccines in the world is far below the required level. Vaccination requires global thinking. It will continue in the coming years, and the whole world must be provided with drugs, otherwise the circulation of the infection will not stop.
