Russian movie Babydoll included in competition program of San Sebastian festival

The Russian film Babydoll will be screened at the San Sebastian International Film Festival, which opens on September, 17. The film will compete for victory in the "New Directors" category. For the director Lena Lansky, it became a big screen debut, TASS reports.

Produced with the support of the Russian Ministry of Culture, the film tells about the 14-year-old Vika, who lives in the Russian provinces, and the teenage problems she faces. 

This year, Russian films were included in the competitive programs of the festivals in Cannes, Venice and Locarno.
