Russian Language Week kicks off in Berlin

The Russian Language Week in Berlin has started today. It is going to run until November 27. The event is considered the largest forum in Germany for the professional development of Russian language teachers.

The organizers of the Russian Language Week are the Russian House in Berlin, the University of Applied Sciences for Technology and Economics Berlin and the Berlin Association of Russian language specialists with the support of the Russian Embassy in Germany, Rossotrudnichestvo, the Russkiy Mir Foundation, MAPRYAL, the Berlin Senate Office for Youth, Family and Education.

The forum is set to start with a plenary session, during ehich the participants are going to discuss the current state of the Russian language and literature, and offer ways of its future development.

In the following days, events dedicated to preschool and school education of bilinguals are scheduled to take place. RSL teachers and methodologists are going to speak at the forum.
