Moscow schoolchildren among best at AI international competition

The team of the Russian children's Moscow research park won silver awards at the  (AIIJC) in the Creative Industries category. The TechMoscow team was among the 14 best teams of the tournament, sharing the prize fund of $172,000, according to the website of the Mayor of Moscow.

The competition brought together over 26,000 schoolchildren from more than 100 countries. Students from Russia, USA, India, Sweden and many other cArtificial Intelligence International Junior Contestountries demonstrated their knowledge and skills. The tournament was held in ten nominations.

Four Moscow teams reached the final stage of the competition. Within the contest, schoolchildren solved problems and completed tasks related to robotics, education, transport and other areas.

The competition was organized as part of the Russian Year of Science and Technology. 19 children's research parks have been opened in Moscow, which accommodate over 100,000 students a year.
