Letters of Russian philosopher Alexei Losev published in Italian

A collection of letters by the outstanding Russian philosopher of the 20th century Alexei Losev, translated into Italian, has been published in Italy. The presentation of the book took place in the Moscow library, which bears the name of the philosopher. Earlier, thepresentations of the book took place in Milan and Bergamo, Rossiyskaya Gazeta reports.

The presentation started with a short fragment from the play, created. The actors portrayed Losev and his wife. 

The complete collection of the philosopher's letters was first published in 2005. Nine years later, the French translation was released. The author of the Italian translation was a teacher of Russian culture at the University of Siena, a specialist in Losev's works Georgia Rimondi.

According to her, the philosopher's letters contain not only a description of camp life (Losev spent several years in GULAG,) but there is also a lot of love and hope for a brighter future.
