Altai Technical University (AltSTU) and Nanjing Vocational Instiute of Transport Technology (China) have agreed to launch joint training programs for engineers. The corresponding agreement, involving the exchange of students, was signed by the rectors of the two universities, TASS reports.

AltSTU stated that the document regulates cooperation in the teaching of roads and bridges construction and software engineering. The parties intend to open joint educational programs in the upcoming academic year.

At the initial stage, the teachers of the Altai university will conduct classes with Chinese students. By the third year of study, they will become students of AltSTU and eventually receive double diplomas from two universities. If the program proves to be effective, Altai students will follow the same route.
