The Olympiad is scheduled to take place this year. Dmitry Zemtsov, a representative of the organizing committee of the NTO, said that Russian teams, which traditionally take first places in the world's largest competitions, receive massive refusals to participate this year.

Russian participants will not be able to show their abilities in international olympiads in school disciplines, robotics, programming and other competitions. For example, the Russian team was suspended from participating in the World Robotics Olympiad, even though over the past seven years it has won 12 times in various nominations and age categories.
