Russian-speaking children from 37 countries took part in Word Factory contest

The results of the Word Factory verbal creativity competition for Russian-speaking children have been summed up. The competition was held for the 3rd time, this year it took place with the support of the Russkiy Mir Foundation.

The Commission on Education and the Russian Language of the Coordinating Council of Russian Compatriots in France and the French Bukovki Association of Lovers of Russian-Language Children's Literature acted as its organizers.

Russian-speaking writers aged 7 to 17 living outside of Russia were invited to participate. They were asked to write a fairy tale or story in Russian with the words "Sasha" and "key". More than 600 kids from 37 countries fought for victory.
 
The professional jury selected 40 best works that won prizes in various categories.
 
The 1st Word Factory contest was held in 2019 at the initiative of the Parisian Surprise school of additional education, more than 300 children from 25 countries took part in it. The 2nd Word Factory competition, organized in 2020 with the support of the Russkiy Mir Foundation, was attended by more than 500 young writers from 40 countries.
