Russian Daniil Medvedev became the first racket of the world for the 2nd time in his career, heading the rating of the Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP). The organization published a new version of the list on June 13, TASS reports.

Medvedev returned to the top line thanks to his own success and the failure of his competitor in the fight for the title of the first racket, Novak Djokovic. Medvedev had previously lost the final match at a tournament in the Netherlands, where the host of the tournament, Tim Van Reithoven, took away the victory from him.

Djokovic, who regained his first place in the ATP rankings, lost in the quarterfinals of Rolland Garros at the end of May. The second line was taken by Alexander Zverev from Germany for the first time, Russian Andrey Rublev remained on the 8th line.

For the first time, 26-year-old Daniil Medvedev rose to the top of the rating list on February 28, but stayed on the first line for less than a month. The Russian has 13 titles of victories in ATP tournaments. Previously, the world ranking was headed by the Russians Yevgeny Kafelnikov and Marat Safin.
