The Russian Orthodox Spiritual and Cultural Center prepared a vast program as part of the European Heritage Days. They were held in Paris on September 17 and 18, TASS reports. According to Leonid Kadyshev, who heads the center, the number of visitors over these two days exceeded 1,200 people.

An exhibition dedicated to Galina Ulanova worked within these two days. The name of the great ballerina, who glorified Russian ballet, is well known to everyone who loves the art of classical dance.

The "Lace" exhibition project aroused great interest among the audience. The large-scale exposition told about the Russian school of arts and crafts. The French were especially interested in the master class, where they were shown the techniques used by Russian lace makers.

The center also organized a conference dedicated to the unique Baikal ecosystem. The forum participants were joined by scientists from Russia and France, who presented the results of research on the largest freshwater lake in the world.

The "Ice Symphony" photo exhibition was also dedicated to Baikal.

Participants of the European Heritage Days were also able to visit the Holy Trinity Cathedral. The temple is located on the territory of the Russian Orthodox spiritual and cultural center. It is the main parish of the Russian Orthodox Church in France.
