Andrey Stenin Photo Contest has starts accepting applications

The Andrey Stenin photo contest has started accepting applications, RIA Novosti reports. By tradition, it begins on December, 22, the birthday of the photographer who died in 2014 during the fighting in the Donbass. The competition is being held for the 9th time. Every year, thousands of photographers from dozens of countries around the world take part in it.

Young photographers aged 18 to 33 are invited to participate, applications can be submitted in Russian, English and Chinese. Winners and laureates in four nominations will receive cash prizes. In each of the nominations, applicants can submit one single work and one series. Applications will be accepted until the end of February next year.
