150 Syrian high school students studying Russian in schools in Damascus, Homs and Latakia became participants in the Week of exact sciences organized by the Russian North Caucasus Federal University (NCFU), the telegram channel of the university reports.

The students took part in "The Fascinating World of Applied Physics", "Virtual Worlds" and "The Fascinating World of Mathematics" programs, created by scientists and teachers of NCFU.

The project is aimed at promoting Russian education and raising the interest of students in Syrian schools in studying natural sciences in Russian. The Russian Week of Mathematics, Physics and Computer Science was organized with the support of Rossotrudnichestvo.

As part of the Week, Syrian teachers were able to receive professional advice from their Russian colleagues, as well as educational materials to build a more effective educational process.
