More than 50 people joined the participants of the "I love Russia!" conference. It took place the day before, on June, 12, in Mumbai, TASS reports. The forum of Russophiles was timed to Russia Day. It was held at the representative office of Rossotrudnichestvo, operating in the "economic capital of India". According to Elena Remizova, head of the Russian House, the forum brought together people who were not affected by the aggressive Russophobia of the collective West, those who kept in their memory the history of relations between Russia and India and still highly appreciate the age-old friendship between the peoples of the two countries.

Among the participants of the forum were historians and statesmen, military men and politicians. They were joined by students, teachers of higher educational institutions and cultural figures. All of them can be called friends of Russia, Elena Remizova is sure. About 20 reports were made during the conference.

According to director Rahul Ravel, who headed the jury of the Moscow International Film Festival, held in the spring, there is a growing interest in modern Indian cinema in Russia. He is sure that India would be happy to host screenings of films by contemporary Russian directors.
