Chinese distributors acquired rights to screen Russian cartoons, dramas and series

Russian cartoons, dramas and historical films, as well as tv shows, were in demand by Chinese distributors at the International Film Market in Shanghai, which took place in June. Roskino noted that Russian and Chinese content companies reached an agreement on cooperation, Rossiyskaya Gazeta reports.

18 Russian companies participated in the film market. They presented 75 projects to distributors, including features, documentaries, animation films and series.

The Snow Queen. Defrosting cartoon was the most popular among Chinese buyers. 

Russian studios presented their projects at the national stand of Russian Content Worldwide. Roskino said that one of the largest film markets in Asia is essential for promoting Russian content to the vast Chinese market.
