Greek, German and Austrian audiences listened to Gustav Mahler's 3rd Symphony performed by the Utopia Orchestra. The orchestra is headed by conductor Teodor Currentzis, Rossiyskaya Gazeta reports.

The tour of the orchestra in Europe covered Vienna, Berlin and Athens. All tickets were sold out. The listeners greeted the musicians with a standing ovation.

Utopia is a new international project that has been around for about a year. It was created by a Greek conductor, whose talent was revealed in Russia. About 120 people from 30 countries joined the orchestra. Now Utopia is a permanent orchestra of Funkhaus, one of the main musical centers of the German capital.

Now, when there is a lot of talk about attempts to cancel Russian culture, Austria intends to freeze cooperation with the maestro. Germany, Belgium, Italy and other European countries do not want to follow its example. Utopia plans to participate in the Salzburg Festival this summer.
