More than 60 countries are represented at the Eurasia Global youth forum, TASS reports. It started the day before, on August, 21, in Orenburg. It is carried out by Rosmolodezh.

500 young people are taking part in it. Half of them represent Russia, the rest are residents of foreign countries. Within the framework of the forum, they discuss the global challenges that face modern society. In addition, during the discussion, they will find common points of growth that all countries open to cooperation have.

A large-scale program covers issues of developing international humanitarian and educational ties, popularizing the Russian language and Russian culture.

Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov stressed that young compatriots living abroad joined the participants. He highly appreciated the fact that even the wave of Russophobia raised by the ''collective West'' did not prevent their desire to strengthen ties with their historical Motherland, to promote the preservation and popularization of its richest cultural and spiritual heritage, and to counteract attempts to falsify history. Sergei Lavrov promised that the Foreign Ministry would continue to provide comprehensive support in this regard.
