Parliamentary conference "Russia - Latin America" kicks off in Moscow

The ''Russia - Latin America'' international parliamentary conference starts on Friday, September, 29, TASS reports. The number of its participants exceeds 200 people.

Parliamentarians from Latin American and Caribbean countries, scientists, public figures and diplomats are taking part in the forum. Together with their Russian colleagues, they discuss important topics on the international and regional agenda.

According to State Duma Speaker Vyacheslav Volodin, more than half of the countries in the region are represented in Moscow. 

The plenary meeting is scheduled for October, 2, its theme will be ''Cooperation for a just world for all.''
