1st Russian-Venezuelan youth forum is taking place in Moscow

The 1st Russian-Venezuelan youth forum is being held in Moscow. Young parliamentarians and diplomats, members of leading youth organizations and government agencies are taking part in it, the website of the National Council of Youth and Children's Associations of Russia  reports.

Speaking to the audience, Venezuelan Ambassador to Russia Jesus Rafael Salazar Velasquez stressed the important role of youth in the development of the country. He also noted the popularity of Russian education among Venezuelan students.

Vice President for Youth Affairs of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela, Grecia Colmenares, stated that young people are the foundation of dialogue at the international level. As part of the forum, a round table discussion was held with the participation of youth leaders of the two countries, dedicated to cooperation between Russia and Venezuela.

The forum was organized by the Russian Ministry of Education and Science, the National Council of Youth and Children's Associations of Russia and the Russian Technological University (MIREA).
