The website of the Russian parliament has been updated with a Chinese version, TASS reports. State Duma Speaker Vyacheslav Volodin stressed that relations between Moscow and Beijing are currently on the rise. In China, he noted, there is enormous interest in Russia.

Vyacheslav Volodin also recalled that Chinese is the most widespread language in the world in terms of the number of speakers.

The English version of the site became operational in the fall of 2018. The Spanish-language version appeared a few months ago, in the fall of 2023.

The next two years - 2024 and 2025 - will become cross years of culture between Russia and China. This was stated by Chinese President Xi Jinping during negotiations with Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin, who was in Beijing on a working visit.
