A personal exhibition of paintings by Russian artist Georgy Shishkin entitled ''Between Heaven and Earth'' is set to open in Paris. The exhibition is dedicated to the half-century anniversary of the artist's creative work, the Russian Eyewitness website reports.

The exhibition is located in a gallery next to the famous Georges Pompidou Center for Contemporary Art. It will run from January, 25, to March, 9. 

Almost a year ago, Georgy Shishkin celebrated his 75th birthday. His exhibitions were opened in Russia and in many countries around the world; in 2017, an exhibition of the artist’s paintings occupied five halls of the State Russian Museum in St. Petersburg.

The artists enjoys wide fame and great love in Monaco where he has been living for 25 years. Prince Albert II of Monaco is a fan of his paintings. A special feature of Shishkin’s creative style is his commitment to the pastel technique.
