March 17 a roundtable discussion entitled “Revision of WW II Results and Contemporary Geopolitics. Public Discussions and New Publications” took place in Moscow. The event was organized by the Historical Perspective Foundation and the Museum of Contemporary History of Russia.

Among the vital issued discussed by the event participants were “Architecture of the Post-War World Order: Backbone Elements and Breaking Point”, “Revision of War Results: Objective Historical Process or Political Conjuncture?” etc.

The roundtable discussion was attended by the leading history experts and social commentators: Head of the Paris office of the Institute for Democracy N. Narochnitskaya, Editor-in-Chief of Veche publishing house S. Dmitriev, Doctor of Historical Sciences V. Falin, Editor-in-Chief of Mezhdunarodnaya Zhizh magazine A. Oganesyan etc.

Alexander Naumov, Adviser of the Executive Director of the Russkiy Mir Foundation, made a presentation entitled “Versailles and Yalta Systems of International Relations: Comparison in the Frame of the Contemporary Socio-Political Discourse”.

Undoubtedly, fathoming out the events, which took place over half a century ago becomes especially important in the light of the latest geopolitical trends and Russia's global initiatives.
