Russian language teachers met at congress in Belgrade

Serbian teachers of the Russian language gathered for a congress, the telegram channel of the Rossotrudnichestvo representative office reports. The large-scale forum united the teaching community of different countries. The Congress of Slavists has long become a good tradition; it became the 62nd in a row.

The grand opening of the forum took place at the Faculty of Philology of the University of Belgrade. The main event was the award ceremony for honored figures of Slavic studies. They also presented letters of gratitude from the Society of Slavists of Serbia.

The conference program also included a seminar, which united teachers from Belgrade, Novi Sad, Moscow, St. Petersburg, Sofia, Prague, Skopje and other cities. It took place on the site of the Russian House. The seminar included lectures, master classes and other events. At the end of the events, participants received certificates.
