Mongolian Teachers Attend Russian Language Course

07.08.2015

A training course sponsored by the Russkiy Mir Foundation for teachers of Russian as a Foreign Language from Mongolia was held in the Pedagogical Institute of Irkutsk State University from 27 July to 3 August.

The training course was attended by a group of 57 Russian language teachers, of whom 15 were directors of regional language centres in Mongolia and 42 were teachers from various schools in the country. The group was divided into two sub-groups in order to make the language tuition more effective. The purpose of the course was to activate previously studied vocabulary and grammatical structures with a focus on getting the students to speak more confidently in preparation for their work with other colleagues in Mongolian schools.
