The 5th All-Russian Summer Scientific-Methodological School for Russian Language and Literature Teachers "We Read Chekhov" was held in the village of Melikhovo in the Chekhov District of the Moscow Region from 20-24 August.

The project, organised by the Melikhovo Museum and supported by the Russkiy Mir Foundation, aims to acquaint literature teachers with contemporary developments and hotly-discussed questions in the study of the biography and literary works of A. P. Chekhov.

According to the organisers: "Teachers of Russian Language and literature from the Moscow Region, the Republic of Tatarstan and the Tyumen Region came together in Melikhovo for five days in a 'Chekhovian Atmosphere' aimed at producing an effective work environment but also at allowing for time for informal discussions".
