Several fake sites of Russian Diplomatic missions are registered on Facebook

Not long ago fake fb accounts of Russian consulates of Czech Republic and Slovakia were discovered. As per Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Maria Zakharova, some misleading guidance of actual materials are being posted on these social networks. These pages are moderated by professionals, Zakharova underlined.

Foreign Affairs called the Facebook administration to block these pages. Due to unknown reasons, Facebook management has blocked official page of Russian Embassy in Slovakia in response. At the same time, the fake one still continues functioning.

Taking to consideration that there's no official representative of the U.S. social network in Russia, MFA has filed a complaint and sent all the evidence on the above-mentioned facts to Roskomnxdzor.
