Hermitage visitors will enjoy Leonardo da Vinci works set new way

pixabay.comHermitage museum curators plan to rearrange Leonardo da Vinci's works. According to the museum's director Mikhail Piotrovsky a new setting is planned due to the immense number of viewers, Interfax reports.

Madonna and Child with Flowers and The Madonna Litta are placed in a small hall that is not adjusted to accommodate increased movement of people. Hence, paintings to be moved to a more convenient place. Also, new display cases that meets all modern security standards prepared for the masterworks.

Mikhail Piotrovsky expressed the hope that new displays are going to be installed in the nearest future, and more spectators will be able to see works of genious artist.

It is worth mentioning that Madonna and Child with Flowers has entered Hermitage collection in 1865, and The Madonna Litta in 1914.
