Putin orders withdrawal of Russian troops from Syria

Russian President AdministrationRussian President Vladimir Putin gave an order to Russian Defense Ministry to begin withdrawal of troops from Syria during his visit to Kheimim airbase, TASS informs.

The President has remarked that Russia together with Syrian troops took a bit more than two years to destroy the most capable of fighting international terrorist grouping. This means that the majority of troops at the Syrian territory will be sent back home. At this, Commander-in-Chief has promised that in case terrorists start raising their heads again, they will get more powerful blow from Russia.
He has explained that today in the morning, Russian Defense Minister Sergey Shoygu reported the end of military operations at both banks of Euphrates River. They resulted in full destruction of terrorists.
According to Vladimir Putin, separate centers of resistance still remain, but overall, the fights at this territory have ended with complete victory.

Now, the Russian President has added, that the time has come to begin the next stage of political regulation. The Syrian government, the Middle Eastern countries and the United Nations are going to take part in it.

The work over a new constitution of the country and preparation for elections will start well. All these are future perspectives. The main task for the closest future is reinforcement of the present state of affairs. Security zones need to be strengthened to stop the slaughter completely.
