Putin: Russia welcomes the opening of Russian schools abroad

The issue of labor migration is complex, it involves many aspects, Vladimir Putin underlined. According to him, there is a huge amount of work here. He said this during a large press conference on Thursday, December 14, that was broadcasted.

Russian president outlined one of the strategies, emphasizing the establishment of Russian schools abroad and branches of domestic universities. 

Vladimir Putin confirmed that countries, the origin of migrants to Russia, have sought help in sending teachers, and he committed to supporting this initiative. He emphasized the importance of migrants respecting Russian laws and traditions, Russian citizens' interests. 

President Putin extended a welcome to foreign citizens aspiring to obtain Russian citizenship, assuring them that all necessary procedures are in place for a smooth transition.
