Russia’s central election commission have summed up the final presidential election results, RIA Novosti informs. Vladimir Putin has won the elections with 76, 69 percent of the votes. 56 million 430 thousand and 712 voters cast ballots for him. The central electoral commission acknowledged elections as “objective and accomplished.”
Russian President has mentioned in his message that this is “the highest percentage in the history of Russia.” He has reminded that he has already given a speech at the meeting at night following the election, but taking into the account unprecedented support of the Russians, he believes this is insufficient.
According to Vladimir Putin such high civil activity and responsibility is very important. Especially today, when there are a lot of the most complicated challenges inside the country and at the international arena as well.
President has assured that he is well aware of the problems existing in the country. Russians fairy state that their income falls, there are drawbacks in the medical care system, housing and public utilities and in other fields.
He believes that the high rate of the support concerned hopes of people for a better living. Besides, this support is due to the work already completed with those positive results, which we have already reached.
Vladimir Putin has claimed his huge responsibility in front of the Russian population and the whole country. He promised to fulfill his obligations outlined before the election.
“We need constituent deep changes and elaborate steps which are to bring stable positive effect today and in future,” he stressed out.
The head of state has assured that the agenda of the development will be consolidating and nationwide. It will be called for joining everybody. He has also addressed all political forces of the country with address to serve national interests and wellbeing of the population.
