The authorities of Western countries take a pro-Ukrainian position, the Russian Foreign Ministry believes. This statement was issued after the annual OSCE meeting on implementation of the human dimension commitments held in the Polish capital, REGNUM news agency reports.

The Russian Foreign Ministry also notes that Western countries constantly politicize the human rights problems solution.

The document emphasizes that Kiev is struggling to shift the blame for all Ukrainian problems to Russia.

Nevertheless, such accusations failed to divert the other countries' attention from human rights violations in Ukraine such as interference in the media activities, the glorification of the Nazis and their partisans and the forced Ukrainization of the Russian-speaking population.

The participants of the meeting called for cessation of the oppression of Russian and Russian-language media and ensuring the right of national minorities to education.

The Russian Foreign Ministry stresses that many representatives of civil society who spoke at the forum have a position in solidarity with the Russian one.

As Russkiy Mir reported, earlier Russia demanded from the OSCE to assess the policy pursued by the authorities of some countries. Their actions are aimed at justifying Nazi regime and indulging racism and xenophobia.
