The visit of the US National Security advisor John Bolton to Moscow might be interpreted as Washington’s readiness for dialogue, TASS cites Russian Presidential Aide Yury Ushakov. Nevertheless, his meeting with the Russian leader was not a breakthrough one. The Russian official suggested to wait for Vladimir Putin and Donald Trump's meeting in Paris.

According to the Russian Presidential Aide, Bolton’s trip to Russia evidences that the White House is ready to continue the dialogue with Russia despite deplorable character of bilateral relations.

Moscow can not help supporting such intention, the Kremlin representative assures.

The meeting was held in a formal manner, the parties did not delve into mutual accusations. The conversation turned out to be comprehensive and even captivating.

The sides talked over the problem of strategic stability, disarmament issues. Primarily they discussed the topic of arms control. It is particularly relevant, as the western country think over leaving short- and Intermediate-range missiles elimination agreement.

Another urgent issue was the situation in Syria. Bolton claims that he called on Moscow to prevent a humanitarian catastrophe in the Idlib province.

According to Russkiy Mir, Moscow and Ankara agreed to establish a demilitarized zone in Syria’s Idlib. It must pass along the line of contact of the Syria Government troops and the armed opposition. This agreement was the main result of the meeting of the Russian and Turkish presidents held in September.

The situation in the Syrian province of Idlib was on agenda of their meeting. It remain to be the main stronghold of the terrorists in Syria. Last year Idlib became a shelter for militants who refused to lay down their arms.
